By accessing or using Vellum ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vellum provides an AI-powered interview service that helps users capture their life stories. The Service includes:

• AI-guided interviews on various life topics
• Narrative generation from interview responses
• PDF document creation and download

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Payment and Refunds

Pricing: Each book costs $19 (one-time payment). Prices are subject to change with notice.

Refunds: We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you have not generated your final PDF. Contact us at hello@chronosandkin.com for refund requests.

5. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all stories, memories, and personal content you provide. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content.

License: By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Submit content that violates others' rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate narrative content based on your responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inconsistencies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing your final content.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
